Beginning February 15th, 2021, website events that are shared using the Facebook Conversions API require additional parameters to remain operational. This notification describes the new parameters and how to configure them using your Facebook Conversions connector.
The new parameters for the Facebook Conversions connector are intended to improve the quality of events used for ad delivery and campaign performance. These parameters are required and must be added to your current Facebook Conversions connector configuration in order for the connector to remain operational.
In addition to ensuring the new parameters are added and configured, Tealium recommends checking the following items throughout your Facebook Conversions connector configuration:
User Agent attributes sent
The following new parameters are now available in the connector marketplace for the Facebook Conversions connector and must be added and configured before February 15, 2021:
Required if the Action Source is set to website.
The user agent for the browser corresponding to the event.
EventStream If the Action Source is set to website and this field is not mapped, it will automatically be mapped to the attribute User Agent in EventStream.
AudienceStream If the Action Source is set to website and this field is not mapped, it will automatically be mapped to the vistor's last User Agent in AudienceStream.
