About Target Environments
If you're not familiar, "target environments" refers to the feature of Web Companion that allows you to load a different version of your iQ configuration on a page. This feature is a convenience for users that don't have access to change the underlying code of the page and want to test a different configuration. To use, you simply click the environment that you want to load and Web Companion reloads the page with that version of the Universal Tag (utag.js).
To improve application security, the ability to use this feature is now controlled in the publish settings of your account. By default, this setting is set to off for all accounts upon release of this change. When you use Web Companion with this setting turned off, it looks like this:
Enable Web Companion Target Environments
To use target environments in Web Companion, you must enable the feature in the publish settings and publish the changes. This change only impacts Web Companion and has no effect on Tealium Tools.

Log in to iQ Tag Management.
Click Save/Publish in the upper right corner. The Save/Publish dialog displays.
Click Configure Publish Settings in the upper right corner. The Publish Configuration dialog displays.
