Connectors

  • (Cool Stuff) Corrected logging issue with Google DoubleClick suite of connectors. The error message was not being decoded properly, this has been rectified.
  • (Cool Stuff) Implements identify, page, and screen actions for the Segment connector in the UDH. (Learn more)
  • (Cool Stuff) A UDH connector for Localytics has been added. (Learn more)
  • (Cool Stuff) A connector for AppNexus has been added to UDH. (Learn more)
  • (Cool Stuff) This release addresses the issue that users were unable to pass certain parameters on associated actions to the Google Universal Analytics connector.

iQ Tag Management

  • (Cool Stuff) Provide sorting capability in the Tealium iQ User Management screen. Users can now sort on First Name, Last Name, and Email.
  • (Fix) Corrected an issue with linked libraries in iQ where inherited variables were not deleted from the profile upon unlinking a library.
  • (Fix) An issue in published utag.js files, where data mappings were not being generated correctly, has been resolved.
  • (Fix) The Data Layer Enrichment API will now limit the 'List' command to returning a maximum of 1,000 records. (Learn more)
  • (Fix) If you did not have permission to edit Javascript Code extensions, but were working in a profile that inherited a Javascript Code extension from a library, you were prevented from publishing your changes. Sorry for the inconvenience. This has been fixed.

Universal Data Hub

  • (Cool Stuff) Adjusted the enrichment timing for a Tally attribute using Set Rolling Sum Based on Timeline to include 'End of visit' or 'Start of visit'.
  • (Fix) Corrects several minor UI issues.
  • (Fix) Resolves the issue where connectors that support event cloud delivery could not be edited.
  • (Fix) Fixes the problem where a newly created attribute from the actions attribute dropdown does not automatically get selected as the dropdown value once it's created.
  • (Fix) Removed logic that was de-duplicating Omnichannel attributes which was causing errors in the UI.
  • (Fix) The "is assigned" operator was incorrectly appearing twice for some attributes. It's fixed now and it only appears once.
  • (Fix) This release corrects the issue where users were unable to save and edit "Send Custom Request" webhook actions.
  • (New Stuff) Progress bar added to Audience Sizing and Audience Discovery jobs. All regions are now using the new platform which provides support for larger data sets and faster processing. (Learn more)
  • (New Stuff) This release brings new and updated usage reports to UDH. (Learn more)

Tags

  • (Cool Stuff) The Sidecar tag has been updated to support their latest JavaScript library loading convention.
  • (Cool Stuff) Updated LivePerson LiveEngage to support a currency parameter and search events.
  • (Cool Stuff) In the Google Analytics tag, you would not get a warning when using invalid characters for the tracker name. This is now rectified.
  • (Cool Stuff) The Trade Desk Universal Pixel tag has been added to the Tealium iQ Tag Marketplace (Learn more)
  • (Cool Stuff) The LinkedIn tag in the Tealium iQ Tag Marketplace has been updated.
  • (Cool Stuff) Updates to the Decible Insight tag in iQ.
  • (Cool Stuff) The Adobe AppMeasurement for JavaScript tag has been updated to version 2.1.0.
  • (Cool Stuff) The FreakOut tag in the iQ Tag Marketplace has been updated to the latest version and now combines both the retargeting (segment) and conversion types into the same tag.
  • (Cool Stuff) This release updates the UNiDAYs tag in the Tealium iQ Tag Marketplace to use the latest version.
  • (Fix) The Pinterest tag was tracking unexpected events. This has been fixed.
  • (Fix) This release resolves an issue where the Collect tag used with Android SDK Version 5.0.4 remote API would result in two events firing which are identical except for the event type.

Universal Data Hub

  • (Cool Stuff) You can now create an event filter to control which events make their way to AudienceStream. This feature can be found in the UDH settings.
  • (Fix) This release addresses some cosmetic issues in AudienceSizing.
  • (New Stuff) UDH Attributes from all scopes (Events, Visit, Visitor, and Omnichannel) can now be marked as "Restricted Data" to protect them from being included in services that send data out of the UDH. Learn more

iQ Tag Management

  • (Fix) The logic for MFA session expiration has been improved. Better security is always a good thing.

Tags

  • (Cool Stuff) The Criteo Adblock tag has been added to the iQ Tag Marketplace.
  • (Cool Stuff) The Extole tag in iQ has been updated to support multiple Extole "names" and CTAs to fire with no Element ID and accept data. Learn more
  • (Cool Stuff) The Tealium SEO tag in iQ was updated to support custom JSON-LD via mapping. Learn more
  • (Cool Stuff) The Tealium Generic Tag for iQ was updated to support a callback function that no longer requires you to customize the tag template. Learn more
  • (Cool Stuff) The Google Universal Analytics tag for iQ was updated to better support the "displayFeatures" plugin and to extend the number of "contentGroup" parameters from 5 to 10.
  • (Cool Stuff) The Trusted Shops tag has been added to the iQ Marketplace.

Installations

  • (Cool Stuff) The Tealium Android library has a new module that allows the client to add the Ad ID to the data layer. (Learn more)
  • (New Stuff) A new integration for the Shopify platform allows you to get the Tealium Javascript library (utag.js) and a populated data layer installed with minimal effort. Learn more

Connectors

  • (Cool Stuff) The Mailchimp connector for UDH was only showing up to 10 email lists from your linked account. It now shows up to 500.
  • (New Stuff) The Segment connector has been added to the UDH Marketplace. Learn more

Connectors

  • (Fix) The Google Universal Analytics connector, in some cases, was not handling empty parameters properly causing those events to not be delivered correctly. Empty parameters are now omitted from the delivered events.
  • (Fix) The Microsoft CRM Dynamics connector now supports entity metadata.
  • (New Stuff) The Sizmek (MediaMind) connector has been added to the UDH Marketplace with support for three new Audience actions.
  • (New Stuff) The AppNexus connector has been added to the UDH Marketplace, with support for audience level actions for real time segment updates.

Universal Data Hub

  • (Cool Stuff) You can now whitelist which domains are allowed to make requests to the Data Layer Enrichment endpoint with a setting in UDH. If no domains are specified, requests from all domains are honored.
  • (Cool Stuff) The AudienceStore connector naming and branding was updated. Previously this was named "Managed S3 for Audiences".
  • (Fix) If you had an extended rule applied to an Audience the "Edit" button for the Audience was malfunctioning and preventing further edits to the Audience. This has been fixed.
  • (Fix) Audience Discovery had several usability issues, such as favorite numbers not updating perspective, date filters being set to incorrect dates, and blank labels, which have all been remedied.
  • (Fix) The "has changed" operator was unintentionally offered in Audience conditions. It has been adjusted to only be available for Enrichment rules.
  • (Fix) The Split String enrichment percentage values were not visible in the UI due to a styling issue, which has been corrected.
  • (Fix) Broken links happen. We fix 'em as we find 'em.

Tags

  • (Cool Stuff) The Conversant tag has been updated in the Tealium iQ Marketplace to clarify branding and functionality.
  • (Cool Stuff) The mapping toolbox for the Google Universal Analytics tag received a cosmetic update. Pretty things are nice, aren't they?
  • (Cool Stuff) The Sperse tag has been added to the iQ Marketplace.
  • (Cool Stuff) A major, vendor-approved, update to the Bronto tag in the iQ Marketplace with added support for Cart Recovery, Browse Recovery, Pop-Up Manager, and Coupon Manager. (Learn more)
  • (Cool Stuff) The Site Improve tag has been added to the iQ Tag Marketplace.
  • (Cool Stuff) The Nielsen DCR tag received a vendor-approved update, which includes: a new description, new tooltips, more accurate configuration options, and clarification about required/optional fields.
  • (Cool Stuff) The LiveRamp Arbor tag has been added to the iQ Tag Marketplace.
  • (Fix) Minor fixes applied to the Pinterest tag in the iQ Marketplace.
  • (New Stuff) The Buyapowa tag has been added to the iQ Tag Marketplace.
  • (New Stuff) The TouchCommerce tag has been added to the iQ Tag Marketplace.
  • (New Stuff) LiveRamp tag added to the iQ Tag Marketplace. LiveRamp (an Acxiom company) unifies customer data across disparate systems, providing the connectivity brands need to reach consumers across channels and measure the impact of marketing on sales._

  • (Cool Stuff) The Cordova Plugin has been updated with new API methods, core libraries, and support for the retrieval of volatile/persistent data. (Learn more)
  • (Cool Stuff) A new lightweight module for iOS that listens for Optimizely events and experiment information so it can be used in iQ and UDH integrations. (Learn more)
