This article describes how to set up the Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK (BETA) tag in your Tealium iQ Tag Management account.

In this article:

Tag Tips

  • Use mappings to override standard config values and set custom parameters.
  • If you are configuring multiple instances, you must provide a unique Config ID and Org ID for each instance.
  • Provide multiple values in a comma-separated list.

Tag Configuration

First, go to the tag marketplace and add the Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK (BETA) tag (Learn more about how to add a tag).

After adding the tag, configure the following settings:

  • Instance Name
    • The namespace for your SDK.
    • The default value is alloy.
  • Config ID
    • Your Adobe-assigned configuration ID.
    • This ID links the SDK to the appropriate accounts and configuration.
  • Org ID
    • Your Adobe-assigned Experience Cloud organization ID.

Data Mappings

Mapping is the process of sending data from a data layer variable to the corresponding destination variable of the vendor tag. For instructions on how to map a variable to a tag destination, see data mappings.
