We've been using Web Companion for two years, and just ran into a problem where it won't load. I can load the Tealium Tools and select Web Companion, but then nothing happens. Anyone else run into this? And any thoughts on why this is happening?
We've got a ticket into Support but thought the community here might have some insight.
Thanks for the note and your patience while we look into this! This is a known problem that our team is actively working on. Because you logged a ticket, you should get notified by support when Web Companion is back up, but I will also post here for others once confirmed.
No updates yet, except to say that our engineering team is dilligently working at a fix. I'll make sure to communicate here when the Web Companion is back to working as expected. Thanks for the note!

Do not use Web Companion, it has been broken for years and it is puzzling that Tealium still shows this broken piece of software around, because there are better Tealium Tools.
If you just want to see the Data Layer variables, use this Bookmarklet:
For switching Environments (eg from PROD to DEV), use the Chrome Plugin "Tealium Tools" and then install the Environment Switcher (@Tealium: Why is that tool not preinstalled in Tealium Tools instead of that broken old Web Companion):
For all of the above, a HTTP Debugging tool like Telerik Fiddler or Charles on Mac is the best solution, but takes a while to learn.
