When querying your database you receive a "Disk Full" error message (1016 error code), typically when using a SELECT * statement in the query.

When evalutating a query there are intermediate queries that occur that will store data in temporary blocks. If your query is too broad then these intermediate results can fill up your disk space causing the disk full error.

  1. Create a Live Events Feed to limit the number of records in a table.  Querying against this filtered eventstream will be better than the "All Events" table.

  2. Modify query to only select relevant column names, including a smaller date range of data. Avoid using SELECT *.

  3. Use the PSQL or UNLOAD clause instead to extract data.
