Has anyone implemented the new GA4 (aka App+Web) in Tealium IQ yet? I don't see a tag template for the new GA4, so I am curious if anyone has had success with it.

Hi @jtippets_blast,

The current gtag.jswill support the functionality of GA4, but we do have it in our queue to add a GA4 tag template. I will keep you posted here when it's released. Hopefully some other users will be able to chime in on any success they've had with it. Let us know if you have any other questions!

It's my understanding that a gtag.js implementation using the pre-defined events is the GA4 implementation. I'm working on a parallel implementation in the next few weeks will let you know of any observations.

Hi @KristenMeren,

Is there a way to send custom GA4 events, for example: 

event_name: 'custom_event'

There is a row in one of the tables on the guidelines page referring to a custom event, but I can't figure out how it is supposed to work. Can you please shed some light on it? Thanks.
