One of our mobile apps is actually a single page site. As it doesn't refresh, it causes the values of data layer variables to become persistent.
For example: on page A a specific button is clicked which triggers an event with a specific name. When the visitor navigates to the next page, the name of that event is still set and recorded (with Adobe Analytics). This causes the count of that event to be inflated.
How would we be able to solve this?

Hello @david_roose. Assuming there is some kind of interaction event that triggers the next page, such as a button press or scroll, the trick would be to re-set the variables based on that event.
I'm sorry that answer is very vague, but without more details it's difficult to give a more detailed answer.
Thanks
