OS Minimum: Android 9

This is listed as Requirement in the Getting started guide for Android.

Does "9" refers to the API level? (Gingerbread 2.3 - API level 9, NDK 5)?

Hello @giacomo_ritucci. Correct. 9 does refer to the Android API level (NDK 5) which is equivalent to Gingerbread 2.3 - 2.3.2.
