Has anyone employed mobile website (not app) swipe tracking via Tealium? Any details on how to do this would be welcome.

Mobile swipe tracking?

Thank you for your question! The mobile libraries are designed to track data driven events; events such as screen views, lifecycle, and UI interactions. Because every app uses gestures differently; there's no design aim to track said gestures. If you wish to track gestures; all of the libraries possess a method for tracking any non-autotracked events specific to your app's use of swipe tracking. Those methods are library-specific, and well documented.

Sorry, my question was not specific enough. I'm looking for info on tracking swipes on a website on mobile, not in an app.

For something specific to mobile, like swipe tracking, try using the jQuery Mobile library on your page. The regular jQuery library doesn't have swipe tracking by default, and our jQuery onHandler and jQuery clickHandler extensions were built with the regular jQuery library in mind, making them unsuitable for swipe tracking. You'll probably have to import the jQuery mobile library on your page, and then set up a custom JavaScript Code extension to handle your swipe tracking. Take a look at jQuery Mobile's API documentation here: http://api.jquerymobile.com/ You can always reach out to your account manger for assistance. Thanks, Seth
