Tealium-Android upload data in intervals

Does Tealium natively support configuring data to be queued and sent in intervals (say every 10 minutes) rather than each time trackView or trackEvent is called?

I see in the example there is a DispatchValidator where shouldQueue tracks if dispatches should be queued or sent. By default it appears events are only queued if there is no internet. Is this the best place to set something up to upload events every 10 minutes?
