Job Description
This Customer Data Platform (CDP) Manager will join our growing team of digital infrastructure experts. You will be responsible for helping to install, configure and coordinate our Customer Data Platform which will be used to support our prospect and customer experiences. The incumbent will also be accountable for crafting an onboarding process for marketing Customer Data Platform use cases. Following the implementation, the individual will support creating marketing audiences, expanding, and optimising our marketing data within the platform, as well as optimising data flow and collection for multi-functional teams. The role will support our digital software developers, database architects, marketing data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure efficient data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. #LI-SW1
Key Responsibilities
•Support implementation of Sage’s Customer Data Platform to support exceptional customer experience •Serve as one of the Subject Matter Experts for the Customer Data Platform •Provide insight into Customer Data Platform best practices •Create and support onboarding process for Customer Data Platform use cases •Partner with Data Team to explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability •Identify, design, and implement internal customer data platform process improvements (e.g., automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing digital infrastructure for greater scalability) •Work with stakeholders assist with customer data platform related technical issues •Review data tools for analytics and data insight team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader. Skills & Experience •Experience with Customer Data Platform enterprise setup & administration (e.g. Adobe, Tealium, Segment) •Experience performing root cause analysis on marketing data and processes in the Customer Data Platform to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement •Build processes supporting marketing data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management •Strong planning and organising skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously. •Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally •Good influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels. •Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
