This article describes how to set up the Selligent connector in your Customer Data Hub account.

This connector uses the Representational State Transfer (REST) API.

Configure Settings

Go to the Connector Marketplace and add a new connector. Read the Connector Overview article for general instructions on how to add a connector.

After adding the connector, configure the following settings:

  • Server Name
  • User Name
    • Dedicated API User.
    • The API user must be assigned specific rights indicating what API actions are allowed
  • Access Key
    • Encryption key for API calls.
    • Generated automatically for the user in Selligent portal

Action Settings - Parameters and Options

Click Next or go to the Actions tab. This is where you configure connector actions.

This section describes how to set up parameters and options for each action.

Action - Create or Update Contact


Parameter Description
Contact List
  • List to add or update contact in.
Create If Doesn't Exist
  • Check to create contact if it does not exist for provided lookup.

Action - Add to Action List and Trigger Campaign


Parameter Description
Action List
  • Required.
  • Action List to add an action to.
  • Map required values for each action item field.
Trigger Instant Campaign
  • Optional.
  • Check to trigger a campaign with the action item.
  • The campaign must be designed to work with action lists.
  • A corresponding gate has to be created beforehand.
Campaign ID
  • Optional.
  • ID of the campaign you want to trigger.
  • Optional.
  • The name of the gate used to access the campaign.
Gate Input
  • Optional.
  • Input parameters passed on to the gate.
