Configure Settings

Go to the Connector Marketplace and add a new connector. Read the Connector Overview article for general instructions on how to add a connector.

After adding the connector, configure the following settings:

  • Account SID
  • Token

Action Settings - Parameters and Options

Click Next or go to the Actions tab. This is where you configure connector actions.

This section describes how to set up parameters and options for each action.

Action - Send SMS

Parameters

Parameter Description
From
  • The 10-digit SMS-enabled Ytel number, in E.164 format, that initiated the call.
  • For more information, see Request Format.
To
  • The 10-digit phone number (E.164 format) that will receive the message.
  • For more information, see Request Format.
Body
  • The body message that is to be sent in the text.
  • Maximum GSM-7 message length is 160 characters per message.
  • Maximum Unicode message length is 70 characters per message.
  • Additional messages are created automatically to send text beyond the maximum message length.

Action - Send Email

Parameters

Parameter Description
To
  • A valid address that will receive the email.
  • For more information, see Send Email.
Type
  • Specifies the type of email to be sent.
  • Values are text or HTML.
Subject
  • The subject of the mail.
  • Must be a valid string.
Message
  • The email message that is to be sent in the text.
From
  • A valid address that will send the email.
CC
  • Carbon copy.
  • A valid address that will receive the email.
BCC
  • Blind carbon copy.
  • A valid address that will receive the email.
