Hi,
we would like to send dates captured in a date attribute to Mailchimp via the AudienceStream connector. The field in Mailchimp is of type date and expects the date in the format YYYY-MM-DD (https://mailchimp.com/help/format-guidelines-for-your-import-file/#date). According to the error message when debugging in Trace, the field is sent as timestamp in ms resolution. Is there a possibility in UDH to transform the date to the expected format?
I could not find enrichments which would support this. In custom webhooks it seems it would be possible through the Trimou Templating Engine, but this is not supported for the builtin Mailchimp connector?
Are there any other options than sending data from iQ in the right format?
Best regards,
Andreas

Which Mailchimp action and field are you referring to? For Upsert Ecommerce Order there is date handling for fields such as Foreign Processed/Cancel/Update Time. But it’s very possible that date formatting is not enforced for some other fields. If you let me know that will help us figure out where the issue is.
Thanks,
-Dan

Hi @dan_george
sorry for not providing the complete context. The action I am talking is the "Subscribe Visitor to List" action, which can also be used to update existing users with the corresponding check box.
In the section to set the merge tags, fields from the selected Mailchimp list are recognized with the correct data type (see screenshot). However, mapping a Tealium date attribute to a Mailchimp date field leads to the described behaviour (sending a timestamp).
Best,
Andreas

@ahrasch Thanks for the details, I have submitted the update through to the Engineering team as this will require an update to the Connector. Please contact your Account Manager for further updates regarding its prioritization and releas.e

@dan_george I'm having the same Issue when using the Google Sheets connector. I'm sending a captured date attribute and it also sends the timestamp in millisecond resolution. I would like to send a formatted date/time to the sheet.

Hi @ahrasch @TimWaijers @Ymountassir @mhayes
There is an enrichment in AudienceStream that may help. You can enrich a String from a date, and you are able to specify the date format for this enrichment;
