Mapped data sources in Eventstream and archiving on AWS S3

I mapped several data sources from the UDO last night and pushed the tag live. Today looking at the S3 log files I do not see my mapped variables. Do I need to set them up somehow through my account manager? Also I see the Require Mapping checkbox which I have set to no. Based on the ? help I think that's correct. I haven't messed with Advanced Settings or the Tag Timeout. Also on S3 I was given the recommendation to use CloudBerry Explorer for Amazon S3. My goal is to move the files to my network for processing into our data warehouse. I have been able to set up a folder synch to pull files down and it does a compare to only bring down new files, but I still need to manage what has been processed on my end. I'd like to do that with archive folders both here and on S3, but have not been able to create another bucket on S3. Perhaps Tealium needs to set up a new bucket?

Hi Steve, you've got a few potential issues here. Your best bet is to contact your account manager to work through them and get them resolved. As a first step though, you should make sure you have the latest EventStream tag template in production. To do this, go to the admin menu (under your login name) and click on "Manage Templates" Select the Event Stream tag from the drop down In the new modal, click the trashcan icon at upper-right confirm the deletion Save & Republish (this will generate a new tag template and republish it out to the CDNs) When you contact your Account Manager, make sure to have the account name, profile name and site URL handy -- this will be very helpful in troubleshooting the data-delivery side of things. Your Account Manager will also be able to help/coordinate help on the S3 side of things.

Clint, I'll be meeting with my account manager Monday. I am an admin, but do not have authorization to "Manage Templates". I'm told. Sorry, you don't have the required permission to perform this action, please check with your administrator to acquire the needed permissions. Steve

Clint, My awesome account manager flipped the bit to let me do that on a Saturday. I was able to go through your steps to get latest EventStream tag and it worked. Last nights files had my mapped data sources appended to the referrer. I expected columns, but I'll parse them out and be fine I think. S3 transfers I'll keep working on. Thanks for the suggestion. It kept me moving. Steve
