Universal AudienceStream attribute which identifies Desktop / Mobile Phone or Tablet

Hello,

I'm curious if there is any universal AudienceStream attribute which identifies Desktop / Mobile Phone or Tablet? Something like a Device Type? 

I see it can be done through the User Agent attribute but it should include a lot of rules so I'm wondering if there is any elegant and quick solution to it.

When AudienceStream is activated, there are a number of attributes that are added by default. There are a few default attributes that can help with this:

- Active Device (string)
- Active Devices (set of strings)
- Lifetime Devices Used (Tally)
- Lifetime Devices Used (favorite) (String)

These are set automatically by AudienceStream. Please give these attributes a try.

If they don't work for you and you have Tealium IQ, you can try setting a JavaScript code extension that determines the type of device based on user-agent (code for this can easily be Googled). Once that is sent to EventStream, you can set the EventStream attribute to an AudienceStream attribute.

I used exactly Active Device attributes and excluded desktop.

I think it works well and covers the use-case.
