Universal Data Objets Variables not showing in AudienceStream

Hello,

I added a new variable in my IQ tag management data layer. It is a UDO Variable. I don't know if I didn't understand correctly but I thought that by adding in in IQ Tag Management it would be automatically added to AudienceStream. Am i missing something? Is there a step I must do?

The variable can be seen in the live events, but it could be seen before adding it to the data layer of IQ Tag Management. 

What I would like to do is to define certain custom variables and then be able to use them in AudienceStream to define user attributes and audiences. I am not using any other vendor, just Tealium.

Please be sure the TiQ profile has been published to production, otherwise the data attribute(s) will not appear in the UDH.

Also, if the TiQ profile and AS profile are different, you'll need to make sure a data source sync is completed. Your Account Manager can help you with ensuring that is completed.

Thank you for replying. I'm publishing to DEV because my account is on trial version, could I publish in PRO being this type of account? Because the instructions on Validating say I'd be charged for this.

I was wrong that you need to publish to Prod. I justed published a UDO var to Dev and it showed in the UDH.

After further research, the issue is that no products within the UDH are enabled (read as AudienceStream) so it's not performing the data import. I would reach out to your Sales Representative and inquire about getting AS enabled.

Once it's enabled, you can declare an event attribute directly within the UDH, which acts just like declaring a UDO variable within Tealium iQ.

I do not know who is my Sales Representative. The UDH and Tag management account and profile are the same. And this is what i see.

My variable is demo_access

This is how my UDH looks

demo_access doesn't appear. I don't know if it is enabled or not. How could I know? And also, the import of variables is automatic right?

I believe you can contact Pablo Roman (pablo.roman@tealium.com). He is the Parner & Alliances Manager for EMEA. I'm pointing you to him since this account is a free trial and I'm not sure if AS should be enabled or not.

Once AS is enabled, the UDO vars should be available within the UDH automatically since the profiles are the same.
