Adobe Site Catalyst: After unmapping a tag & push to prod still residual data in report

Hello All,

I'm having an issue using the Adobe Site Catalyst Tag dealing with unmapping variables.

I'm doing clean-up on variables(props and eVars) that we determined were un-useful in order to re-purpose.

Therefore, we variables are working properly and data is popuatling the Adobe reports daily.

When I go into the tag and delete the mapping example PLP Filter(prop51,evar51) goto-->delete icon, click apply,

the publish to PROD.  I am still seeing residual cached data coming into the Adobe reports after the mapping

was deleted.  The data does drop about 50%-80% but this data continues to report for days or weeks.

In addition, I have also used the "reset" button in the Adobe UI but I am still seeing data.

The data was originally mapped to a Hyrbis/Magento type platform.

Also, I have done QA with Chrome tools and I don't see the prop/eVar mapped in the GET request but it still populates the report.  Does anyone have a suggestion to resolve?

Thanks-

Andre

I think your best bet is  to set up a two-item correlation group up in the SC admin interface.

e.g. prop51 vs referrer

Then you can break down one by the other.

At this point you can see where the props / eVars are being set. It most likely that there is a hard coded event, that is being fired.
