Any one using the new Omniture sitecatalyst js code (JS Lite - SiteCatalyst AppMeasurement for JavaScript)? If so have you been able to migrate all your plugins over?

I am running H26 and JS Lite in parallel to make sure the data captured lines up but I am struggling to get the few (day time parting, visit number) H26 plugins to work in the JS lite code.

I haven't tried this yet. But documenting this would be great for future migrations. I would love to see our team implement this.

Hi Joe, Thanks for starting this thread.. I'm sure we can put together a list that is more current than this one: https://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/sc/implement/index.html#AppMeasurement_Plugin_Support If you see a plugin that isn't supported, we'd like to help build a new one. I know a Solutions team member who recently re-built a "Time Parting" function you can use. (Contact your Account Manager to get the code for now.. We'll also plan to build posts on these.)

It was really nice to be able to run both the H26 code and JS-Lite SiteCatalyst code in parallel in production for a few days. We simply added the the JS-Lite (SiteCatalyst AppMeasurement for JavaScript) tag and changed the default s object to s_2. Then mapped that tag to a new report suite and pushed it out. After a few days we simply compared the data across the report suite to identify gaps/discrepancies. The JS-Lite code appears to be just about half the size of the H26 code so we are hoping to see some small gains in performance.

Great thanks. It would be nice if I could get all my plugins to be vendor agnostic so I could use the functionality across multiple tool sets. I will be bugging my account manager shortly.
