Hi Guys,
I set up cross-domain tracking for GA tag following the guide here in the community and for some websites, it's not working. Example:
When you click "Prescription Savings" from this page (http://www.januvia.com/sitagliptin/januvia/consumer/special_offers/index.xhtml) you get to another site (https://www.activatethecard.com/7159/#) and I don't see any Google Universal Analytics cookie value appended in the URL (“_ga=2.34535345.....”). The implementation is in QA now. Do you have any experience or thoughts why it's not working?
Thank you so much,
Kirill
So looking at your page, and the current template you are using. It looks like you are using a very old version of the GUA template, which doesn't support that feature. I would recommend updating your template to the latest version, which will allow you to do the cross domain tracking.
Please see this link for how to update a tag template.

Hi Adrian,
Thank you very much for your reply. I forgot again that GA template is always the case of issues. Will Inform you once I update the template.

Hi Adrian,
It helped. Thank you for the support!
Have a nice weekend,
Kirill
Great to hear that it worked!

We are experiencing the same issue of the GUA cross domain tracking not working.
For example, when you navigate from http://top10livresfrancais.lulu.com/ to our main domain (by clicking the J'achéte button, for instance) no cookie is in the URL.
Hi @sberman. We now also have Cross Domain Tracking via First-Party Cookie Sync using iFrames, if you are interested.

Hi there,
we also got a problems with using Tealium tags wihtin an iframe.
We got a page (domain xyz) where we implement an iframe (domain abc). We want to implement a facebook tag within the iframe. Do someone got a solution?
iFrame: <iframe height="1450" frameborder="no" id="iframe" src="https://domain.abc.de/page" scrolling="no" allowtransparency="true" style="border: medium none; width:100%; position: relative"></iframe>
Many thanks,
Binh
