Hi,
One of the issues we have experienced since switching from GTM to TiQ is our demographic data is diminished since we switched tag managers. Does anyone else have this problem? We have had no changes in the setting of any kind. Our Engineer went in and adjusted some sort of data levels within the config.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mary Kay

Hi @MaryKayLofurno - this is not a surprising symptom you are reporting. Who knows the "magic" that Google does, as far as demographics stitching is concerned, when GTM is in use and it can pass along this info into GA as visitors traverse your site. Almost makes us want to maintain parallel implementations to zoom in on the "magic", doesn't it?
I'm sure others will chime in with ideas and observations as well.

Hi,
Our Tealium Engineer, Dustin, increased the data limits and it seems to be rendering as expected now. I am not sure what he did but its okay now. Thanks, Mary Kay

Hi MaryKay,
Glad we were able to get this resolved.
To add some more detail, I was able to restore the demographic data to your account by updating the Display Advertising Features setting on the Google analytics tag from "off" to "on."
I don't know all the details but some aspect of GA's display features significantly increases the amount of demographic data they are able to report in the Analaytics dashboard.
Thanks,
Dustin
