Does Tealium recommend a best practice for setting up multiple Google Analytics reports, or, GA Properties? We would like a GA report for our production and development GA reporting, along with Dev and Prod for our Mobile profile.

Should we make a JS extension and override the Tag Account config based on domain?

Hi John, For your use-case, I think you should do a Set Data Value extension and have the 'condition' set to fire on a different domain. So by default, maybe it'll fire to prod, but if a domain with 'dev' is detected, it would override the GA property number. If your dev and prod tags had very different configurations (e.g. mappings, events, etc.), then you'd want to split them into separate tags with different load rules. For mobile, are you referring to a mobile site or a mobile app?

Son Thanks for confirming - we'll explore a Set Data Value extension (not JS). Yes, dev and prod would almost always be the same. Our mobile property - under a separate Tealium profile - is a web site, and I think we'd use the same approach to send data to dev or prod there too. thanks
