Could someone help me with a depth explanation about error 404 in the page's client before of making profiles and after of insertion of LigthinBolt on the client's page?
Thanks so much in advance!
Solved! Go to Solution.
Can you provide more details on what you are seeing the 404 error on? You mention LightningBolt, are you referring to a Salesforce community page or something different? Is this on an intranet without external access?
You may be trying to add a profile before it is actually published. Did you already add the utag.js to the page? Did you publish that specific profile?
For example, if you tried adding https://tags.tiqcdn.com/utag/testcompany/testapp/qa/utag.js before even making a publish, you'll get a 404 because that file does not exist yet.
Hi guys, thanks so much for the response, but I only need a technical explanation about the error 404 in the client's page when the developer puts the Ligthinbolt, I know that is a normal situation because the container is empty, I have to implement the profile and the error disappears, but I need technically explain that to the client.
Thanks so much in advance!
Lightning Bolt doesnt Use default Tealium utag library code. It is integrated to Tealium with its own data Layer and all other elements. Whenever you ask client to Implement LB on their site. It throws a 404 error since that domain is not yet added or available in Tealium. technically that utag.js is not available in Tealium to load the lbData to the page and fix that error. All other Direct Tealium implmentation (utag.js) works other way around since the profile is already created before sending the Tealium base code to the client.
I hope this answers your question.
