Facing issues firing product view tag

Iâ m seeing some â TypeErrorâ while loading utag.js when product_category_id (_ccat) value is not provided (or null) in the code along with product id and product name. However when category value is assigned, product view code fires perfectly. Problem Iâ m seeing is with line 25 of utag.1.js (coremetrics tag) where it is doing a .slice call on _ccat and throwing TypeError. Any help?

Do you have the E-commerce Extension added to the profile? The CoreMetrics tag, along with some others, assumes the E-commerce Extension is added to the profile, even if it isn't filled out. As a best practice, always add the E-commerce Extension to a profile, even if you don't fill it out or use it.

We are going through all of the tags in our library to make sure they don't break when the E-Commerce extension is not present. We don't have an exact ETA for this to be complete, but you should see this issue less and less often.

Thanks Jared! E-commerce Extension was part of library profile, however it was not reflected in the main profile causing the error.
