GA 4 Turn off default page view event from the GA4 Tealium Template

Hi,

I am trying to implement GA4 using the tealium template and add pageview as  a custom event so that I can add custom parameters to it.  I see that, in the template, the default pageview event is set to false however, I still see the pageview tag fire in the website. Can you please help me understand what I might be missing here?
