How can I map "User TImings" values through GA tag? manaully adding utt, utc, and utv don't seem to work? although it may be beacuse our tag was customized and is out of date.. But i also don't see User Timing mappings available in the tag mapping nav..
Hi @Michael_Kim_shc,
You might need to look at updating your template for GUA once you do that you will be able to add some custom mappings which will allow you to send timing data:
timingCategory timingVar timingValue timingLabel
Kind Regards
Simon
Is there any intention on Tealium's side to update the template to passthrough custom parameters in the future? ie if i map data to "xyz", the template would then push the data to URL paramter "xyz" at the end of the GA event call (or have GOogle do it using teh GA methods)?
Aside from that, thanks - i'll customize the template... I would just prefer not to have to do that is all.
I assume your modifying the tempate due to your other changes you have made?
The more simpler tags work with that methodolgy anything mapped will bet set to the querystring, with advanced tags such as GA / GUA there is logic that needs to be followed and most Anayltics libraries don't have a generic catch all to pass anything through.
