Hi,
I have implemented internal campaing tracking through Tealium using GUA tag. I'm tracking impressions and clicks on a carousel banner on the front page of my site.
The problem is that every time the carousel changes a banner, a new impression is sent to GA, resulting in many calls/requests. I'm looking for a solution that only add the impression on the tracker object, and send all impressios on the next event or pageview.
How can I do this ?
Best regards,
Ketil

@ketil_flataker, it sounds like you might have the event tracking set when the banner changes, rather than when it's clicked on - have you hard-coded the utag.view/utag.link event, or are you using a jQuery onHandler extension?
Thanks

Hi, Thanks for you reply.
There is hardcoded snippets to measure promo impressions (how many times the banners is viewed) and promo click (how many times the banner is clicked).
Have not tried the JQuery onHandler extension.
Was wondering if there is a way to have utag.view not do the mapping if I add a param along with the json objekt?
Thanks,
Ketil

Hi,
Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. If you are still having problems, please could you raise a support ticket so that we can look at your specific example and account?
Many thanks
