I set-up 5 GA utm parameters today in the Data layer. utm_campaign, utm-source, utm_medium, utm_term, utm_content Is there a #4 step where they need to be mapped to query id? Steps: 1.)Data Layer-->Add Data Source 2.)Source utm_campaign 3.)Apply - (repeat for other 3) 4.)Is there another step where they need to be mapped? Thanks-

Andre, Are you trying to add the variables/values to the query string or are you trying to grab the values set in the query string and send them to GA.

Andre - If you're using standard campaign tracking parameters for Google Analytics and you just want to make sure the data gets to the tag, you don't have to map anything because the libraries from Google (analytics.js and ga.js) will take care of everything. For example, in the pixel call for Google Analytics (Universal) you will see a parameter "dl" that will contain the full URL and tracking parameters that Google will then parse server-side to figure out traffic sources and campaign data. However, if you want to use those same query parameters for other things, you would have to define them in the data layer so they can be mapped.
