Is there a way to avoid remapping all the tag variables when upgrading from Adobe Site Catalyst "s" code tag to the new Adobe App Measurement library tag?
So far I hadn't found a way to do this - hoping there's a magic tool someplace! :)
Copy or Duplicating the existing tag, then modifying, is not an option when making this upgrade.... or am I missing something?
Thanks for any input....!

Hi @mitchellt,
You should be able to just update the tag template.

Then make sure to select the newest library version from the drop down.

Hi @christina_sund, thanks for the reply, but in practice, it doesn't seem so easy unless I'm missing something.
I just updated the template on one of my TiQ profiles which had a SiteCatalyst tag. But updating the template did not magically convert the tag to Adobe App Measurement and provide those listings in the drop down as your screenshot showed. (see my screenshot below)
I'd love to convert one particular profile from Site Cat to App Measurement, but doing so will require remapping 82 variables "by hand" unless there's another method I'm missing? Thanks for any leads....

We do not have a feature currently in TIQ to copy mappings from one tag to another. Some of our Engineers have created custom internal scipts to allow us to do that on the support team. You can create a support ticket and we can move those over for you. It should only take a few minutes :)

Hello @robert_sabec, this is great news, thanks for mentioning this option, I'll certainly take advantage of this option.
