I want to create a new GPT Tag that modifies the tag template to include code for Header Bidding.

  1. Does every instance of a TAG have its own template file?
  2. If so, does this mean I can have two instances of GPT TAG with the template for the second TAG modified to support Header Bidding?
  3. When I create the modifications for the second template, do I save the template as a profile template instead of version template?

Hi @steve_sherwood,

Yes each tag added from the Marketplace in TIQ has it's own template file. So, you can create two instance of any tag, distinguish them using separate load rules if necessary, and as you mention, modify one of the tag templates to support Header Bidding.

Here is a reference to an article discussing how to edit tag templates:

We recommend that you save a backup copy of the template (as mentioned within the article above). Also, we recommend that you use the Save Profile Template option.
