Is the "session" identified by utag.v.js related to the "visit" concept in Adobe Analytics?

Reading this link (chapter "Session Start Tracking"), we understand that the utag.v.js request is made at the start of a visitor's session.

Does this call correspond to a new visit as well for the Adobe Analytics system?

Hi @loreboldo,

I would not compare utag.v.js with Adobe's visits as they are two different platforms/eco-systems.  Tealium's cookies are independent from what other partners/vendors may have in place.

What is your use-case or issue that you are trying to solve for?
