Is there a way to automatically expire a Tag?

Is there a way to automatically expire a Tag? Even if it expires but only removed on the next publish of the profile. We have the problem where there are marketing campaigns that run and expire but it is rather cumbersome to track when they expire and therefore when to remove the tags.

I think what you're looking for is a time-based load rule. You can create a load rule that will load a tag for the time range you specify. It prevents the tag from loading any time outside of that time range. Here's the article: https://community.tealiumiq.com/posts/585997

Is there a way to expire a tag without applying a time-based load rule? We apply rules for multiple tags but would like the tags to expire independently.  A case for this would be when tags move from staging to production environments at different dates and so we would want the tag to expire a given duration from when the tag moved to production.

Another way to think about it that we don't want rules to expire, we want the tags themselves to expire regardless of the load rules.

Helpful, but 1 question.
What date and time it considers to make a decision?
Is this your browser's time?
For eg :
Suppose a tag is implemented for a date range 30th NOV 2021
Expected : A person sitting in India(on 1st DEC 2021) will not see tags firing but NYC is still under that time-frame it should see the tags firing.
Will it happen in this way?
