Some products on the Store have had new versions launched with new SKU Strings. The tag load rules which would identify products by their sku strings were updated to reflect the new SKU values and as a result the product-specific tags are firing well. The s.products line on the site's product pages is showing the new product's SKU string. The only problem is that the SKU report in Omniture is just not identifying the new SKU Strings though the new page names are showing in the Omniture page name report fine.
Is there anything that can be done in Tealium to make the new SKU strings show in the SKU report? Thanks a lot!

Hello @sujani_koya,
I suspect you are using Tealium IQ E-commerce extension to map the product ids to adobe analytics product string. is that understanding correct?
In most cases, if the product string (s.products) looks good and you could verify s.products in analytics call, then mostly the issue might be on the data being sent or the format of the data sent in product string. Product string has a specific format as below
"Category;Product;Quantity;Price;eventN=X[|eventN2=X2];eVarN=merch_category[|eVarN2=merch_category2]"
You may want to check, if the format of product string is correct and also none of the special characters like semi-colon(;), comma(,) are sent within the product id. This may result in incorrectly interpreting the product ids.
If you could share a sample analytics beacon with the product string(s.prodcuts) being sent, we could verify everything looks good there.
Hope this helps. Please reachout if you need any additional details
Thanks

Hi Abraham,
Thanks a lot for responding. We are mapping values individually, not with the E-Commerce extension. The s.products line is coming out perfectly. The utag_data.product_sku, utag_data._csku and the utag_sku variables are all populated correctly. The SKU report is reporting the old SKU strings and the existing unchanged product SKU strings perfectly. Only the new SKU strings are not getting reported.
Thanks,
Sujani
