Not seeing GA tags/events from Tealium. How can I debug?

Hi Hai, You can start by adding the default GA tag with basic tag configurations (account number into the tracking ID field). Once you publish this out you should be able to see a default page view event that google tracks. Then start your way down with the configurations to see if there was a specific setting that caused and issue. Here are links to some Bloomfire articles for Google Analytics. Basic Tag configuration Google Analytics (traditional/old): https://community.tealiumiq.com/t5/Tags/Google-Analytics-Tag-Basic-Configuration/ta-p/13272 Google Universal Analytics https://community.tealiumiq.com/t5/Tags/SERIES-Google-Universal-Analytics/ta-p/9494 If you are still experiencing issues, please contact your account manager and we can schedule a working session to walk you through troubleshooting.

The most common issues we see with Tags not firing are incorrect configuration values, for instance not setting the google account id, or load rules that are evaluating to false. If the configuration is correct and you suspect load rules are the issue...

  1. If you are using the "All Pages" load rule by itself then load rules are not your problem
  2. a single load rule is applied ... make sure that it will evaluate to true: starting question: is the data source that the load rule is built on available at page load (e.g. it's not coming from an extension)
  3. multiple load rules are applied to the tag ... multiple load rules always use an AND operator so all load rules must evaluate to true for the tag to fire If none of these seem to be your issue then as Jasmine Liu says you should contact your account manager to set up a working session so we can help you directly to solve the issue.
