Passing custom variables into DoubleClick Floodlight Tags

I'm trying to set up a DoubleClick Floodlight tag for Remarketing and need to pass custom variables u1 and u2 into the tag. One of those variables is static and one is from the data layer. I've tried using the Tealium Floodlight tag, but there I don't know how to pass a static parameter e.g. u1=xyz into the tag. I can't use Generic tags either, because the Floodlight tag doesn't use query strings, but instead has the variables inside the URL separated by semicolons. There has to be something I'm missing here, right?

Hi Dani, To pass a static value you can use a Set Data Values extension. (https://community.tealiumiq.com/t5/Tealium-iQ/Set-Data-Values-Extension/ta-p/13645) Simply declare a new data source and set it to "Text" then in the text box enter your static value. Then map the new data source to u1 or u2 in the tag mapping box. Does this help?

Hi Dani; You can use the floodlight tag to accomplish what you need. 1. Map data source values to U1 and U2 respectively as needed. 2. For static one you can "hardcode" this using Set Data Values Extension. 3. The mapping toolbox will take care of delimiting with semicolons.

Hi Bahman, Thanks for your response. The hard coding via Set Data Values is what I was missing. Duh!
