Privacy Manager questions

Hello, I have a couple of questions regarding this:

Cross domain - we use multiple domains and would want the privacy selections to persist across all of them - is there some way to do this?

I use a lot of custom containers/pixels etc - when working on a tag by tag basis only the tag vendor is visible, which is great for tags from the marketplace - however all my custom ones have meaningless vendor names (ie 'Tealium Custom Container [UID91]').  Is there a way to revert to using the title instead?

Thanks!

Stu

Hello @spendergast. We do have a document for Cross Domain Tracking that you might be able to modify for this use case??? You never know. :-)

At Stena LIne we have used the Privacy manager for almost 3 years. I have not found a way to extend privacy settings to anything else then the scope of the cookie that rules it - which has to be domain specific. So this is not about tracking.

Also, I have had the same experience with the names, which - if you run generic Tealium tags and pixels, get the name of their Library tag, instead of the description. I have asked for a change of this but to no avail yet. I guess you mean that it is diffictult to sort the tags in the Privacy manager into the categories you have chosen. To my knowledge this still has to be done by tag number for the generic ones.

Seriously @tamedbeast??? <sigh>

Sorry about that @spendergast. Our little mascot can be a handful sometimes. And my apologies that we did not have a better answer for you.

Let us know if you have any other questions. :-)

Don't worry about me @kathleen_jo, I get ripped much more than that at work!

I do have one other question: having permission selections persist across our domains is essential for fulfilling our vision for the post-GDPR world - if it doesn't work like that by default can we engage Tealium to build us a solution?

Thanks!

@spendergast your best bet here would be to speak to your account manager, who will be able to advise you about all the options available. I'm sure we can help to fulfil your needs.
