Our legal team has informed us that Spain requires tags to be listed by vendor in the Cookie Preference Dialog while other EU countries require listing by category. We currently use the Legacy Privacy Manager to list tags by vendor, but we need to use the newer Consent Preference Dialog to get the tags listed by category. When we turn that on newer dialog tool, it automatically deactivates the legacy extension. Is there a way to use both?
It looks like the legacy extension just loads Multi-Opt Out template so could we put that in a Tealium Custom Container and load it on our Spanish site? I understand we'd have two competing cookies at that point with OPTOUTMULTI and CONSENTMGR, but would they conflict? We have one top level domain with country sites separated out by pathname. Users typically don't bounce between country sites so I was thinking either leave them alone OR include the path when we create each respective cookie. Before I muck-up my profile trying to configure this, any suggestions on how to handle this?
