Suppress initial pageview on angular application first load

Hi,

I'm facing an issue in an angular application where there are two pageview tags firing when the application loads.

I believe this is due to the nature of the angular application and so used the suppress pageview javascript extension scoped to preloader as mentioned in the developer guide but it didn't work. Has anyone faced this issue before and fixed it or know of any other alternative to suppress the initial pageview. Below is the suppression code I used.

window.utag_cfg_ovrd = {noview:true};

Thanks,

Sujay

Are you also making a utag.view call in your javascript? I have a couple angular pages that I need to set noview:true because the data I need isn't initially available on init and once that data does become available during the page load I make a utag.view call.

I also have to make sure I set some of my extensions on those pages to 'load once', otherwise they load during the utag.js load, and then again on the utag.view call.

The utag.view call is made from the application side once the route change happens at NavigationEnd. All the other pageview tags are working fine except for the one when the application loads.
So, the noview flag worked for it means?
