Hi all,
I created a bookmarklet to make it easier for myself to overview Versions created in a Tealium iQ Profile.
The built-in Versions overview in Tealium iQ is very feature-rich and has a very graphical angle. This is all very good, but often I have experienced a need for a much more basic way of overviewing Versions, while working in Telium iQ.
It would surprise me if others hadn't had the same thoughts as me So, in the spirit of "Sharing is Caring", I now release this bookmarklet for public use.
Read a bit more about it, and get it, at this GitHub repository:
https://github.com/pmeyerdk/tiq-versions-tabular
I hope you find it useful, and welcome comments and contributions.
Information about other helper tools you might know of, will also be greatly appreciated.
If you choose to make your own versions, or just make updates to this one, then please do share your work :-)
All the best,
Peter

Yes totally agree with you. hierarchical structure of version tab is really good. But not that easy to traverse through the versions and for quick reviews. Really good to see the tab version. Nice work there.
Just an additional suggestion, but not sure if this is a known limitation or happening only to me. Noticed that we may still need to click on the up or down arrow in tealium IQ versions tab to view the next or previous set of versions and then open the bookmarklet again to view those new ones. If we can have that traverse button also on the bookmarklet, that would help prevent going back and forth.
Hope this helps. Please reachout if you need any additional details.
Thanks
Abraham

Hi @abrahameaso,
The original Versions list only include a bunch of version data at a time, and when you click the mentioned button, it loads the next portion of version data instead of the current one.
Cool idea to add a button in the bookmarklet to do this version list update.
That is something I really should look into.
I don't know why I didn't think of that one myself ;-)
You're welcome to add it as a feature in the GitHub repository page.
Otherwise I will add it myself, so that the feature request is in a list.
Thank you for the feedback!
Kind Regards,
Peter
