Hello,
I'm creating tag extensions, and need to add a rule that keeps it from firing on a certain page. In other words, I need the extension not to fire when the url contains "/galleries". Can I simply add a condition that says "Pathname does not contain (ignore case) galleries" to prevent it from firing on this page?
I have done this, but the extension still fires on the /galleries page. Am I using this incorrectly? This tag is currently live so I need to update this ASAP. I emailed my contacts at Tealium on Friday, and they are not responding. Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you!
Hi
Correct Conditions should let yo do that.
Can you provide some screenshots perhaps and an example of the urls where it is failing.
Then we can assist with debugging.
Thanks
Hello @zwaters
Not sure weather you have accomplished it, but just thought of posting the steps.
I had done this before in my profiles. Its a 2 step process -
1. Create a load rule, with condition - url does not contain (ignore case) '/galleries'
2. Add the load rule in the tag
This should stop the tag from triggering on that page. Hope this helps.
Thanks
