UTF-8 Characters in URLs Crashing Load Rules

If we create a load rule where the URL contains a UTF-8 character (ł, ó, ú, etc.), the rule will not work. In the publish configuration for the profile, we have "Use UTF-8 encoding" turned on. Is there a fix for this?

@KFNavara if I test a URL with this "?test=óú", I get this in the Tealium Web Companion: "dom.query_string" : "test=%c3%b3%c3%ba".

Perhaps you can use these codes "%c3%b3%c3%ba" in your loadrule?

If you have specific scenarios where this is occurring, you could use an extension set to execute "Before Load Rules" that would replace the UTF-8 characters and set the value to a new variable. You would then use this custom variable in the Load Rule. That should be an effective quick fix, but if it is a broader issue where this is unmanagable, you may want to submit the issue to your account support team.
