Updating a single tag whilst not publishing changes to other tags

I want to publish a marketing tag to Prod but there are multiple changes in another (big) tag which - I think - would be published at the same time. I want to update the Prod container with a new live tag but not publish the other tag. Is this possible and how do I go about it?

Tag 1 - marketing pixel - set to be published to QA and Prod

Tag 2 - analytics - set to be published to QA and Prod

Here's my question. If I turn off 'Prod' within Tag2 and then publish the whole container, will Tag 2 disappear from my website? Or will the container's previous version of that tag still remain live?

@GuyMorgan  - I believe your suspicions are correct.  You might want to open a support ticket for this, your Tealium engineer may be able to help with some behind-the-scenes magic or other suggestions.
