Web Companion: Add JQuery Live Handler?

Went through the process. Added to queue. Saved, but I don't see it in my extensions in the profile. What am I missing? Where am I supposed to see the onHandler extension after I save it via the web companion?

Mark, the most common issue here is that you are looking at a different version from the one that webcompanion saved the change to. compare the version that webcompanion reports vs. the version you are looking at in the console, if they're not matched then switch to the version that webcompanion reports and looks for your extension there. If that's not the issue, we probably need more information to help you out.

Thanks Clint. That might have something to do with it. I actually already have the jQuery selector I need and am trying to use the Web Companion on a dev page to get Tealium to "see" the second variable in the "set [variable] to [variable] part of the onHandler extension since that variable doesn't currently appear in the dropdown list provided. Is this the correct way to get Tealium to see the variable (if so, then I have to use the production environment?) or am I going about this wrong? Mark

Clint Tracking what you said above - I did go back in and look at the version on the web companion and then load that in the console. The extension is there, but it still didn't capture the variable (see my comment above). So I'm still stuck trying to figure out how to get Tealium to recognize the variable I need to use (put it in that dropdown list). Thanks Mark

Thanks for the additional info Mark. If I understand your comment above, you already have the jQuery onHandler extension configured and published to Dev, and you are using the extension to set variable B to the value of variable B when the event occurs? Is that correct so far?

It might be faster to hit your account manager and get a working session set up so that you can step through all the actual details rather than talking about it in the abstract

I haven't published the onHandler extension yet because I'm still missing that piece - variable B (setting variable A to variable B when the event occurs). But yes, sold. I'll reach out to Dani.
