What are you using to host your .xml site map for site scan to consume in Tealium?

Site scan requires a sitemap be generated and hosted so tealium can reference that file. What free or close to free resource(s) would you suggest for this?

Here's a list of sitemap generator tools from Google: https://code.google.com/p/sitemap-generators/wiki/SitemapGenerators Generally speaking the sitemap.xml should be hosted at the root of your website (www.mysite.com/sitemap.xml)

Groovy and thank you for the speedy response Clint. Follow up question on that would be, if we don't have access to put files in the base directory, what's the best practice for going about doing that?

Hi Ben, not sure that we have a best practice around this, but any publicly available URL should work. I've asked a solutions engineer to weigh in.

Yes just to validate, any publicly available URL will do, it doesn't necessary have to be on the same domain as the site you want to scan. We often expect clients to already have this because search engine will often use this to go through your site.

Awesome. So my question then would be: What free or next to free tool / site would you recommend to accomplish this. Our company has over 300+ websites, of which around 15+ are using tealium, and the near future that 15+ will grow in triplicate. So for us, an external solution isn't just a nice to have, it's a requirement because our digital analytics team simply can't acquire the access to all of those sites. You guys are awesome, thanks for your help and feedback.

Do you mean for storing the sitemap files? If you have the ability to upload/ftp the sitemap files to _any_ of your sites' webservers that's probably the ideal solution. If not, Google Drive and Dropbox jump to mind as potential solutions but you would want to vet that with your company's security policies before using them.
