While using the webtrends tag the utag.link does not show in network tab but the utag.view does.

Rookie Contributor

I am trying to fire custom tracking for a click on the page.

I am using the webtrends tag and have a onHandler extension that only shows in the network tab when the Tracking Event is set as view not as link. the onHandler is set as a click trigger. while debugging i can see the the link is firing but i do not see the network traffic.

Can someone advise on how to get the utag.link to fire for webtrends?

Hi @gmwoodward

I would either contact your Account Manager or raise a support case here:

https://community.tealiumiq.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/support-contact-form

So that someone can walk through your site and/or the template to see why this isn't working for you.

Hello @gmwoodward. You account manager's name is @laura_simas. I shall ask her to reach out to you when she has a chance. Thank you.

Hi

Check if your webtrends tag or whichever tag, you're trying to fire, has link call enabled.

If not, then you'd have to.

Thanks
