New to Tealium and looking for anyone who may have and wouldn't mind sharing a cheat sheet with various use cases. I learn well by doing so I would try to get the same results as sample. Or any leads where i can learn more on what, when, where, why, and how to correctly assign tags on my site

That's quite a big open ended question.
Have you done the education stuff? and attended some classes arranged by Tealium?

I find that it helps to start small at first, for instance do you have tag now that you want to implement? because then you can play with it and see how it fires etc....

Problem with what you are asking is that everyones websites or apps are different, my solution for instance will not be suitable for you.

But if you are stuck implementing something then we can definitely help.
