I am working on a marketting campaign url tags that will get sent both google (GA) and adobe analytics.
Understand that in GA the standard UTM terms (source, term, campaign etc.) will be automatically tracked.
But in adobe custom variables to be used.
How do i use tealium to capture the UTM parameters then send them to adobe as custom campaign variables ? sorry beginner's question.

Hello @hcerus,
Me Again:)..
If you want to use those same google utm query parameters for other things like Adobe analytics, you would have to define them in the data layer so they can be mapped inside the corresponding tags.
Add data layer variables :
Step 1: Navigate to Tealium IQ > Data Layer Tab > Add Variable
Step 2: On the Add variable modal, update the URL parameter in the "Source" field. Select "Type" as "Query String Parameter" and press Apply. Other fields are not mandatory, i would always add a note to describle this variable
Step 3: Repeat the above steps for each individual UTM parameter to be captured.
Once the data layer variables are created, they are available for mapping to corresponding Adobe variables within the Adobe Analytics tag in Tealium IQ.
Next, you will need to navigate to the "Tags" accordion within Tealium IQ and further map these new data layer variables within the MAPPED VARIABLES section inside the Adobe AppMeasurement tag.
Publish the changes to dev and happy testing!!.
Thanks
Abraham
