Is there a way to load utag.sync.js from dev enviroment when dev is set from tag companion? Even if I set dev, utag.sync.js is always loaded from prod. Thanks in advance Luca

Luca, This is a very interesting observation. Currently the utag.sync.js doesn't support switching environments based on the Web Companion directive. This is something we just haven't added in. I'll get this in the queue of things to build, it's a great request. In the meantime, any one of our services team members can put in place the code directly into your template to handle this. If you need this immediately, let me know...I can write it for you as well...

Hi Mike, thank you for your reply, I'm happy to know this feature will be implemented in the future. Could you provide us further details on how you will modify our template to handle utag.sync in dev enviroment? Would it be possible for us to switch enviroment independently after this fix? ByeBye

Hi @luca_pezzoli @lukas_oldenburg,

We have a Tealium Tool that can assist you with this already, the Environment Switcher.

This will allow you to switch the utag.js / utag.sync.js files as required. Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding this.
