Configure Settings

Go to the Connector Marketplace and add a new connector. Read the Connector Overview article for general instructions on how to add a connector.

After adding the connector, configure the following settings:

  • Client Host
    • Client-specific collector hostname.
    • A static value supplied by TVSquared.
    • Example:
  • Site ID
    • Client-specific collector siteid.
    • A static value supplied by TVSquared.
    • Example: TV1234-1.

Click Next or go to the Actions tab. This is where you configure connector actions.

Action - Track Event

URL Parameters

The following table lists URL parameter to be encoded in the server-to-server request:

The servertrack and RAND parameters are automatically set by Tealium.

Parameter Description
  • Required.
  • Unique ID for the visitor.
  • Example: 0123456789ABCDEF
User Agent (UA)
  • User agent, if applicable.
  • Example: Mozilla/5.0
Browser Language (LANG)
  • Browser Language, if applicable.
  • Example: en

Device ID Type (deviceidtype)
  • The deviceid field type.
  • Example: AAID or IDFA
Medium ( medium)
  • Required.
  • Set to app for mobile app.
  • Example: app
Country (country)
  • Country
  • Example: US
OS (os)
  • Operating System
  • Example: ANDROID
App ID (appid)
  • ID of the app.
  • Example: com.myapp.appster
IP Address (ip)
  • Required
  • The IP address of the mobile device.

  • Identifies the name of the partner supplying the data.

App Name (appname)
  • Name of the app.

  • User Agent.

User ID (user)
  • Client-supplied private unique user identifier, such as an internal id from a billing system.

  • The promocode, if the user used one.

  • If not specified, 0 is supplied by default.

Ad Channel (adchannel)
  • Advertising channel name.

Action ID (id)
  • Identity of an individual user action, such as an order id.

  • Campaign name.

Pre-Attributed ( preattributed)
  • Whether the event has already been attributed.

  • Exact timestamp of event, in Unix timestamp in UTC
  • If not provided, will be provided by default.
